We put on retainer an American Lawyer based in Mexico city who will work with an immigration lawyer and Mexican Immigration to hopefully reverse the worst aspects of International Megan’s Law and how it applies to registrant travel to Mexico. http://www.ameikadespachodeinmigracion.com/matthew-ameika-eng
This will include understanding IML and the Mexican Guardian Angel program, communicating with Immigration
and border immigration authorities to understand threat levels and eventual lawsuits against the current process. I have sent my own personal funds to get things started.
We need a total of $ 2,000 and have sent $ 500. So, small $ 10 or $ 20 donations from a few registrants is all we need. Please donate what you can and spread the word. http://registranttag.org/donate/

I’ll match Paul’s $ 500 and challenge others to donate what they can towards this effort! I was turned away a couple of years ago due to this ridiculous IML program.

Mike,
I am a Misdemeanor in VA and traveled to Mexico in 2015. No issue but it appears to have changed.
Vacations in Florida appear to be a no go as they put you on the list for life. For a week or even less. Crazy.
Happy to donate as well.
I just gave $ 1,049 to this cause. I was turned around in Cancun a couple of years ago and I hope we can all vacation there again someday through efforts such as this. I challenge others to give what they can! Thanks, Paul!
I also recommend talking with Bob Kaarls in the Netherlands. He is in the Hague and works at the International Criminal Court and has dealt with Interpol and their notices. He can advise you and find out Interpol has on you regarding Green Notices. If you retain him, please make sure you tell him that you got his information from (this site and me). He might be able to have the notice removed so you can move around more freely. This is his contact info:

You can request your own file from Interpol. No need to pay your friend to do it. It’s on their website.
Hi Nomad.
How do I go about getting my file from Interpol? I did some looking but can’t seem to find where to access the information. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
